Off the stage, Mercedes has found a way to blend her love of artistry and service. She has worked in the non-profit sector to provide accessibility to arts education, a blessing she was granted herself growing up. She’s worked with groups from Artists from Peace and Justice to most recently the New Jersey Performing Arts Center and continues to support arts education.
